This paper has made a comprehensive, in-depth and meticulous research of 116 college sports teachers'basic teaching ability conditions in 6 Xinjiang professional sports colleges, with the scientific research of literature, electronic access, expert interviews, social investigation, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis methods. The results show that:The overall development of Xinjiang college professional sports teachers'teaching and research capacities is in a good trend, but there are still many shortcomings and need for improvement. (1)Preparation of teaching plans. Teaching plans seldomly consider factors about students, but are designed mainly on traditional curricula, which includes less students'emotional factors, specific content of the classroom and classroom scenes creation. (2)Classroom demonstration and explanation. Language is too straight, not vivid and humorous enough to attract the attention of students. (3)Teaching material and methods. They are too conservative and lack of innovation and novelty. (4)Error correction. The integrated use of Language, physical and the tools are needed to be improved. (5)Handling unexpected incidents. Teachers can not deal with or resolve the unexpected teaching events in a humorous and witty way. (6)Space and equipment. Six University's existing stadiums still can not fully meet the professional development needs of college sports, especially in winter. (7)The assessment and evaluation. Assessment form is single. Utilization rate of comprehensive evaluation, such as "End evaluation" and "diagnostic evaluation", is low. (8)Scientific research. Teachers seldom attend academic conferences, and most teachers participate in the annual conferences, less than once a year. (9)Research production. There are obvious quantitative and qualitative deficiencies in papers, and many teachers do not have ever written any books or been charged with research tasks. (10)innovation. Teachers are limited to the traditional education model or function, and can not properly conduct innovative education.Analyzed the current situation, for how to resolve Xinjiang college P.E. professional teachers'teaching and research problems, this paper gives some suggestions as follows: The college functional departments should attach importance to the development of college sports professional teachers'research capacity and create a good research environment; Xinjiang college sports professional teachers should pay attention to the time allocation between sports teaching and research in a balanced way and with clear scientific purposes. They should use scientific research to promote teaching, and the opposite is true. |
