Comparing with the students in western countries,Chinese students in Middle School wouldn't like to ask questions actively, which is a indisputable truth. This paper researches on the students' asking ability in MingDe Middle School and examines the developing characteristics that they have with this kind of ability, the types of their questions-asking in Chinese lesson, the situation of their question asking and basing on this, the paper studies on the strategies for cultivating students'ability of asking questions.The paper also specificly researches on several types of asking questions, such as 'taking on questions', 'dicovering questions' and 'creative questions'. And the amount, the gender differences, the developmental tendency of students' asking in middle schools are surveyed too by questionaires. Meanwhile through the ways of 'positive analysis', 'references',and 'analysis of lessons', the paper discusses on how to reach the goal of cultivation with the strategies of changing the ideas, creating situations , vacant reserving and teachers' asking.
