| It has become an important basic work to improve university growth and development by making full use of alumni resource. More and more universities now begin to pay attention to alumni work, but no one has put it on a strategic level. The aim of this thesis is to discuss how to reform current standing institutional framework and operation mode, and establish an efficient and rational management system of alumni work.The thesis discussed the following three main aspects: first, analyzing the development, institutional framework and feature of alumni work at home and abroad; second, analyzing the present situation, opportunities and challenges faced with alumni work; third, concerning the LG University, conducting a systematic research on its alumni work in a strategic point of view, analyzing the demand of management system of alumni work, setting up the general objective, defining the functions and establishing an institutional framework.By using the IE theory and methods, this thesis make an innovative research to the management system of university alumni work. Introducing IE theory into the non-profit organization management system—university alumni work design, and combining IE theory with the administrative work of non-profit organization, is of great practical significance for improving efficiency, quality and management level of the latter. |
