Improving the efficiency of mathematics teaching is a topic with constant from ancient times and teaching should serve for the students'learning. Teaching effectiveness is reflected not only in the knowledge that students have been acquired and the short time effects of class contents learning, but also in the development of long-term learning. Therefore, learning results should be the unification of short-term goal and long-term goal. The efficiency of mathematics teaching does not depend on what teachers instruct, but on what students actually received.This issue focused on a point from the practice of mathematics teaching– the efficiency of commentary on the third year papers in senior high school. Although the efficiency of papers commentary is a tiny part of the whole mathematics teaching efficiency, it is particularly important for the second review in the third year. This efficiency is not only reflected on the short-term effect of students grasping the topic in this class but also on the long-term effect of students learning. Hence study should be the unification of both the short-term and long-term objective.The level of the efficiency of papers commentary is not dependent on how much the commentary content, or how much the teachers have taught, but the knowledge that the students have grasped and the development they can reach.This paper is based on the intensive study of the mathematics teaching efficiency in our school. Mainly dependent on the mathematics teaching practice and in accordance of the teaching process of management, divide the paper commentary procedure into preparation session (including three links of browsing papers, communication, finding and correct the faults themselves), practicing session (including two links of setting up a platform, specifically commenting on the questions), recollecting session (including three links of training the habits of self-reflection, answering individual questions and practicing again after correcting).Each link is constituted by the activity of students and teachers. So to sum up the conclusions and mathematics teaching point of view, steeled from low to high, for detailed investigation, observation, experiment and research and screening, accumulation, integrated, summing up, from bottom-Construction of teaching theory, which can help us to construct the basic theory of certain characteristic and highly efficient mathematical education. Thus it can provide the basis and measures for relieving the too much burden of prevalent high school mathematical studying and elevating the efficiency of learning and teaching for mathematics.
