Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the self ? development of teaching profession received more and more concerns, which directly stimulates and liberates the theoretical study of teachers' growth, provided a huge internal drive for teachers' professional growth. Considering the fact that adult learning needs the help of case ? interpreting, this paper selected one case to investigate the role of personal factors on teachers' development, aiming in revealing theoretical basis and practical approach to promote more teachers to speed up the specialization in their career.By reviewing the 30 years teaching history of teacher Liben Zang from seven aspects, this paper depicted Zang's mathematical teaching philosophy, characteristics as well as practice in detail, reflecting Zang's professional growth. This study illustrated these personal factors and discussed the effectiveness of Zang's practice strategy.As a case study, this paper cannot induce the general law of teachers'professional growth. Nevertheless, we can still be inspired by the footsteps of Teacher Zang. We hope that our study could provide direct reference for the professional growth of primary and secondary school teachers.
