| Universities and colleges are an important pool of human resources for social progress and country's development and an essential base of transmission of advanced knowledge and culture. It is an important foundation for college teaching, management, and students cultivation, committed to educating, cultivating and creating potential talents. During this process, the ideological and political work play a vital role in development and growth of the students and how to implement and follow up "people-oriented" management philosophy in college ideological and political work has a very important practical significance as to improve the quality of university and college talents. Therefore, this paper focuses on "people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates as a research subject and sets out to conduct a step-by-step analysis, in the hope of providing some insights into efficient implementation of"people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates.The first part deals with the content of"people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates. First of all, the connotation of "people-oriented" management is clarified, referring to a series of management activities in whose process, guiding ideology of the management and specific principles and methods should base themselves on people as a starting point and final result, serve all purposes for people, set people as the core, and motivate and mobilize people's initiative, enthusiasm and creativity for the common development of people and enterprises as its goal. Secondly,"people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates is clearly defined as that in the ideological and political work practice, all levels of university and college leading cadres and ideological and political workers adhere to the principle of all starting from people and mobilizing and motivating their initiative and creativity for the purpose of the people's all-round development. Finally, on its basis, a humanistic analysis is made on ideological and political work of college undergraduates.The second part concerns the need of adhering to"people-oriented" management in ideological and political work of college undergraduates. Ideological and political work of college undergraduates constitute an important component of college management and are also an important element in the field of public administration. It is an important foundation for college teaching, management, and students cultivation. People-oriented management is a newly developed philosophy in the reflection of people's dominant role and function against contemporary social development, especially in the reflection of price for one-sided pursuit of economic growth. However, this philosophy is not an absolute new creation of modern management science but grows in rich theoretical content and origins. This philosophy not only contains the theoretical groundwork from Marxist"people-centered"thinking, but also carries new development of"people-oriented" management in domestic management science circle. At the same time, typical characteristics of strong personality and poor independence of college undergraduates pose a strong demand for"people-oriented" management in ideological and political work. In addition, to implement"people-oriented" management in ideological and political work of college undergraduates is the call of times development and need of enhancing the quality of undergraduate students to promoting their overall development and also an essential requirement of college ideological and political work.The third part deals with existing problems and reason analysis of"people-oriented" management in ideological and political work of college undergraduates. The fundamental task of universities and colleges is to cultivate talents, and ideological and political work of college undergraduates should serve the healthy growth of students and focus on their all-round development. After the study and analysis of the current status of ideological and political work of college undergraduates and large amounts of data, the author finds there are still so many problems in"people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates, mainly, less emphasis of "people-orientation" in ideological and political work of college undergraduates, overemphasis of administers'dominant role, negligence of students'initiative, insufficient attention to and support of special student group, and role dislocation of ideological and political workers. Prevalence of traditional management awareness and management mode, relative lack of basic qualities of ideological and political workers and inadequate social environment and school resources for implementation of "people-oriented" management mainly account for the above problems.The fourth part deals with the development direction and reform proposals of "people-oriented" management in ideological and political work of college undergraduates. Based on the analysis of existing problems of"people-oriented" management in ideological and political work of college undergraduates and deep exploration of their reasons, the paper concludes with the development direction and choice of path for reform in"people-oriented" management of ideological and political work of college undergraduates and points out that universities and colleges must place"people-oriented" management in the core position of ideological and political work of college undergraduates, strengthen the construction of high-level ideological and political work teams, optimize the moral environment, create good "people-oriented" management conditions, enhance the effectiveness of work and do well the ideological and political work of college undergraduates in accordance with the spirit of the 16th document of CCCPC. |
