| Teachers are the direct bearers of educational practice and actors of education reform. There will be no education reform and development without teachers' participation. With the continuous development of education and the in-depth implementation of the curriculum reform, more and more concerns have been shown for the requirements of teachers' professional development. Whether high school curriculum reform can be steadily pushed forward and smoothly implemented depends on the levels of teachers' professional development. Teachers' development has a direct bearing on success of the education reform. Because of the lack of classroom observation, the teaching efficiency is low, which affects the professional growth of teachers and constraints the new curriculum experiment. According to the facts of classroom teaching and teachers' research conditions, this thesis analyzes the important effect of the classroom observation on teachers' professional development from four aspects: 1) The driving force for teachers' professional development comes from their own reflection and the reflection must be achieved by classroom observation; 2) The development of teachers' professional growth mainly exists in the classroom. Only through classroom observation can teachers improve their teaching, promote teaching efficiency and upgrade the level of their professional development; 3) Teachers' professional growth is a continuous process of learning and practice. Through classroom observation, theory and practice can be combined to enhance teachers' professional standards. 4) The form of the new concept of student-centered curriculum is the core of teachers' professional development. It is only through classroom observation that we can really realize the student-centered teaching and make our professional growth steadily and rapidly.Based on the literature reviews and many scientific research methods, the author uses a scientific attitude to demonstrate that classroom observation is not only a basic quality of teachers' professional and an important carrier and means of teachers' teaching reflection and educational scientific research, but also the only way of teachers' professional growth. |
