Mathematics has become an important part of modern culture. To develop students' abilities of mathematical communication has become one of the objectives of school mathematics in many countries around the world.On the basis of research of the internal and external literature on mathematical communication, this thesis gives some concepts about mathematical communication, such as the definition, classification, value, and evaluation of mathematical communication ability. This essay is made by the questionnaires on mathematical communication done by the senior high grade three students, through which the following phenomenon were found:1. At present, there are still some problems exist in mathematical communication among senior high grade three students. They are the weakness of the awareness of communication, communication in the process is not very positive and initiative; the short amount of the topics and comrades for mathematical communication; the monotony of communication methods; and the unbalanced development in the mathematical listening, speaking and reading ability, especially the lack of speaking and listening ability.2. The main reasons for these problems are the lack of opportunity to communication and the environment; the blocks among the students while communicating with each other due to the reason that they do not master the right methods in communication; do not have communication methods make regular exchanges of students blocked; the lack of knowledge for communication of the teachers leads to result of the unbalanced development of listening, speaking, reading and writing ability in mathematical communication as well.According to the survey, I respectively have made practical training for mathematical communication in the following three aspects which are knowledge summary, problems solving and test paper analyzing, using reasonable mathematical assessment to promote the communication of mathematics. I come to the following result after one year training:1. The student's ability of the listening, saying, reading and writing mathematics has the varying degree enhancement, particularly the ability of the listening, saying mathematics has had the large scale enhancement.2. The form, content, partner and skill of communication have been strengthened, but the student's ability of reading the topic has not been obviously enhanced, they often need more communications each other ,then they just have a more thorough understanding to the mathematics question, because the ability of reading the topic has the close relationship with the student individual mathematics foundation. If we want to have the breakthrough, it possibly need longer time training.3. Progress is made in the ability of generalization.4. The scientific evaluation of mathematical communication has accelerated the improvement of students' communication skills.The practice of the past year shows that there is a big potential for the students to improve their communication ability. However, the achievement of the improvement requires the teachers' profound understanding of the definition of communication through which the various kinds of teaching methods can be realized for the purpose of improving the mathematical communication ability. At the same time, by evaluating from different angels can help students achieve the experience of success so that the communication ability will be improved and developed effectively.
