| As an important component of national economy, the architectural industry can not only promote the economic growth, but also create a large number of jobs, and its importance is self-evident. The development of architectural industry is inseparable from the support of architectural vocational education, without the large quantities of high-quality labor provided by the architectural vocational education, architectural construction and management technology, the development of architectural industry will be severely restricted. Ultimately, the development of architectural vocational education can not be separated from teachers.For a long time, to the higher vocational teachers, it has been existed the problems that the professional practice abilities and experiences are insufficient, so as to the architectural vocational teachers. This status does not accord with the demand that the training objective of higher vocational education requiring of the teachers'professional abilities, which is an important factor to hinder the development of higher vocational education in China. Aiming at the problems of the low practice ability, unimodal ability structure and the lack of practice experience of the vocational education teachers, in 1998, the Ministry of Education formulated the Views on Deepening Vocational Education Reform for the 21st Century and proposed the suggestion that the vocational schools needed to build a team of dual functional teachers. In 1999, in The CPC Central Committee and State Council's Decision on Deepening Educational Reform and Promoting Quality Education, it is re-emphasized to build dual functional teachers with qualifications and professional and technical positions. Therefore, the dual functional teachers construction has become one of the most important tasks in vocational colleges.Employing comparative study, questionnaires, interviews and other research methods, and taking the architectural higher vocational colleges as study objects, this paper makes a research on dual functional teachers construction in architectural higher vocational colleges. It first makes a review of the research achievements on the dual functional teachers construction both in China and abroad. On this basis, it defines the connotation and quality of the dual functional teachers in architectural higher vocational collages, elaborates the necessity of the dual functional teachers construction and analyzes its theoretical basis and then makes a deep and systematic analysis of the current situation and existing problems of dual functional teachers construction in architectural higher vocational colleges. At the same time, this paper makes an introduction about the main practice and basic experience of the faculty building in some developed countries and makes an analysis of the useful inspiration to the faculty building, especially to the building of dual functional teachers in higher vocational colleges of China. Finally, it focuses on the countermeasures and suggestions of the dual functional teachers construction in architectural higher vocational colleges, and makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the specific ways and effective measures from three levels of governments, vocational colleges and enterprises, which is also the key point and the achievement of this paper. |
