With the philosophical hermeneutics as the theory basis, this thesis tries to construct moral education leading to understanding, which may provide new theory bases for moral education in the transitional period and offer some theoretical reference to primary schools' moral education practice in our country.In Introduction part, the reasons for selecting the subject of understanding moral education are given: first, cultivating people who are good at understanding in the 21st century characterized by globalization with understanding as its theme, has become the time mission of today's moral education ; second, the imperfections of today's moral education in our country ,that's , rejection of subjectivity, deviation from the life world ,disregard of the diversity of value, require us to re-examines the value orientation of moral education ;third, the prominence of philosophical hermeneutics in today's society provides us with a new perspective to observe moral education.Chapter Two makes a review of today's major moral education theories and also gives a brief assessment of them. These moral education theories not only enrich the theory research, but also broaden our vision and make us have a clearer realization of the future development of moral education. This thesis also tries to construct moral education leading to understanding from the perspective of understanding theory, with the above-mentioned research as the basis.Chapter Three gives a detailed description of the theory basis of understanding moral education. First, the historical origin of understanding is reviewed from the perspective of philosophical hermeneutics, that's, the development of hermeneutics from being characterized by skill to being seen as practical philosophy, and the basic properties of understanding are analyzed, so we may have a clearer realization of understanding in hermeneutics. Then, a detailed description of the relationship between understanding and moral education is given, and two points are put forward in this part: first, moral develops from understanding, and human beings, as interpreters, understand moral in life, cultivate moral in life and enhance their moral standard in life; second, moral education is a special understanding activity, and it is a moral practice conducted in mutual understanding between teachers and students, both as interpreters.Chapter Four tries to construct moral education leading to understanding, based on the theory of understanding moral education. In this part, with the philosophical hermeneutics as the starting point, the appeal for the return of moral education to understanding is made, and understanding moral education can be constructed from the following four aspects: taking root in life world, generation of moral wisdom, realization of understanding between people, and respecting the diversity of value.
