Most of the students have put lots of energy and time in mathematical study. They try to accomplish themselves in study by doing this, so as to meet the social demands. However, the mathematical knowledge or skill that students acquire has not matched with direct proportion the time and energy which they put into the study. There are always differences during the mathematical study, as to be paid attention to and deserve to be studied among these differences is, the influence of different kinds of thinking types on the students' mathematical study. According to the four thinking types put by Anthony Greogone , who isthe professor of course and teaching in Connecticut University--concrete but order, abstract but order, concrete but random, abstract but random,we investigate the effect of different thinking types of students on studying mathematics in junior high school, and design some teaching strategics, i.e. to bring up the abstract generation sill for the students with concrete but order thinking, to foster the scattering thinking skill for the students with abstract but order thinking, to bring up the abstract thinking skill for the students with concrete but random thinking, to foster the skill of the centralized thinking skill for the students with abstract but random thinking. Finally, we apply these strategics in teaching mathematics and examine their feasibilities.
