An Analysis On Job Employment And Influencing Factors Of Full-time Master Graduates Of Specialty Of Physical Education Teaching And Training In Hebei Province

Under the influence of"the strategy of revitalizing the nation through science and education", and with the advent of the 21st century, it becomes an upsurge to receive postgraduate education in China. This becomes a hot issue which needs our close attention. The number of masters and doctors on campus keeps rising annually to a large extent. However on the backside of this flourished phenomenon, it is not an optimistic position for master postgraduates to obtain employment. Master graduate students are confronted with varieties of tribulations before taking an occupation, and it is absolutely important to prepare themselves for the employments, as the old saying is that"precautions averts perils".Since the new nation being founded, specialty of physical education teaching and training, as a significant specialty, has supported the construction and development of physical education department. Many qualified teachers have been cultured for education career in our country; they have made great contribution to the development of education career. With the foundation of socialistic market economy system, and its gradual consummation, especially, the quick speed of course in large enrollment makes graduate students who majored in specialty of physical education teaching and training face not only opportunity but also challenge. On one hand, this specialty gained rapid progress, and its size has been enlarged unceasingly. On the other hand, the demand quantity of PE teachers is finite in society, which makes it much harder for students of specialty of physical education teaching and training to obtain employment. Therefore, we must start according to the reality and follow the direction of market to increase innovation and revolution of specialty of physical education teaching and training so that to enhance potential of this specialty, and ultimately promote its development to a healthy and ordered state.Data indicate that, employment rate of the graduate students in Hebei province is relatively high at present. Employment status is optimistic though declined slightly compared with former years. It is known that, postgraduate students, who graduated before 2003, can choose from employment units (most of them went to junior college or technical secondary school).For two years, postgraduate students were selected by schools. For example in 2006 normal schools and technological academy came to my department to select capable students. They chose one or two from ten graduate students, and requested them to have other capabilities besides his specialty. Thus brings forward new questions to postgraduate education in my college additionally, due to the trend of saturation in high schools in Hebei province; there will be effects on graduate students to take up an occupation. So it is not optimistic in the future, and we should pay more attention to the status of employment of the graduate students.At the present time, articles related to graduate students'employment research are mainly from macroscopically aspect in our country. The author made the investigation from the point of the physical education subject, to understand the status of employment of master students of specialty of physical education teaching and training in Hebei province, to analyze the existing problems and the influencing factors in employment on the master graduates of the specialty, and to bring forward some constructive advice.The methods this essay adopted are references; investigation, Mathematical Statistics method, logic analysis method. The research targets are full-time master graduates of specialty of physical education teaching and training. It investigated and explored the employment of them and analyzed the existing problems and their reasons and at the same time it put out the relevant counter plan.The results of the investigation show that, presently, the main problems in status of employment of master students of specialty of physical education teaching and training in Hebei province are as follows:1,At present, there is yearly enlarged enrollment of master graduates in Hebei province and the employment of them is fiercer. The job rate of full-time master graduates of specialty of physical education teaching and training is dropping down especially under the market economy system.2,The factors that influence master graduates of specialty of physical education teaching and training in Hebei province are many. They mainly include social environment, school education, self qualities of the students (mainly specialty level and job views, etc.)3,For the college education, we should focus on such educational problems as the training target, research direction, schooling system and course setting according to the social demand. We should highlight the comprehensive training for the PE postgraduates from reforming the course setting.
