Nowadays, unbalanced population sex ratio in birth becomes even stern day by day. Numerous scholars, from kinds of angels of view, take different regions and various groups as study objects, in order to find the roots of this matter. They excavated economy, culture, system and so many kinds of influencing factors. As to the correlation data, why does traditional culture still exist? Why does urbanization displays different results? And when economy developed, why does it not be able to bring civilization make some progress correspondingly? These real contradictions make people think more deeply about this problem. This research selects Gangzha district of Nantong as the object, by questionnaire survey and thorough interview, with the help of SPSS, find that traditional culture has encouraged gender preference, while education, occupation, retirement system and the individual capital together restricted the spread of traditional sex culture, and has limited their develop opportunities, thus normalizes the sex ratio. Under the dominance of modern birth civilization, the corona that covers on advanced sex choice technologies becomes overshadowed.
