The teaching evaluation system is an important part of our national basic education curriculum reform . The purpose of new teaching evaluation system is planed to improve every student's ability , to advance teacher's teaching level , and to promote the school's development . In this way , we can give full play to the educational function of the evaluation . With the development of the new curriculum reform , the problems of the traditional teaching evaluation system become more and more serious . Consequently , to built a new system to adopt to the new curriculum reform is too impatient to wait .Taking teachers and students as the evaluation objects, and according to modern educational evaluation theory , constructivism theory and subject educational theory , this thesis summarizes the teaching evaluation system and analyzes the request and expectation of the teaching evaluation .On the basis of the theory , this thesis centers on the teaching evaluation table . Firstly , it takes survey and interview , and collects the middle school geography teacher's opinions . Secondly , it analyzes the table and the interview content , and preliminarily builds the teaching evaluation system . And then it sums up 6 evaluation items and 15 evaluation standards . After that , by consulting specialists and data, it comes to relative weight coefficients . At last , it forms the evaluation table.The system consists of items, standards, weight coefficients,rates,comments.Items consists teaching objectives,studying conditions,student's activities,the teacher's basic qualities,teaching effects and teaching innovation. Rates consists of excellent,good,pass,fail.The system fits new course excepts experiments, especially emphasizes mutual understanding, negotiation ,communication and trust,and has oriented, diagnostic,encouraging and developing functions.The evaluation system emphasizes the combination of teaching and learning , focuses on the geographic feature . On the other hand , it pays attention to students'non-professional aspects . To some extent , it is feasible .
