The thesis, beginning with the teaching of junior school students' English reading, approaches the process of it by Think Aloud Protocol. The thesis consists of four parts: first, the existing problems in junior school students' English reading and the necessity and importance of the study in the thesis; second, the analysis of the theory of Think Aloud Protocol for support, this part inquires into the function of Think Aloud Protocol in junior school students' English reading, and also the principles and skills that -Think-Aloud Protocol should follow; third, introduce how to use Think Aloud Protocol in junior school students' English reading by samples, expounds if their English ability affects their Chinese thought in junior school students' reading, when junior school students are more likely to have Chinese thought in their reading and something about the sameness and differences in their thought process; and the last, the suggestions and discussions as to use Think Aloud Protocol in junior school students' English reading are given in order to help to improve the teaching of junior school students' English reading. |
