Games In The Primary English Teaching

New Curriculum places an emphasis on the process of learning, requiring that both the content and participants should be multidimensional. In order to comply with the new goals, the writer of this thesis designs a series of game-based activities by combining the New Curriculum and Fun with English (Oxford Textbooks for primary pupils in Jiangsu). After a year's experiment, it is found that the activities are effective and feasible. By means of questionnaire, interviews, observation and diaries, the writer has formed various conclusions and has obtained a range of implications for teaching English in primary schools.
