Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges is part of the education system, and the product of objective requirement for socio-economic development. Technology advances very fast in Anhui and there is a lot of new-type industry. Meanwhile manufacturing sector accelerated. However, the building of new rural is serious shortage of human resources, and it is urgent to improve the investment environment. Also regional economic management needs to be improved. The problem of lack of senior skilled workers is increasingly serious. If vocational education can not take on the arduous task of training, human resources issues of regional economic development will become a "bottleneck." Therefore, as far as the rapid economic development in Anhui Province , developing higher vocational education is of great significance.However, Anhui Higher Vocational Education, in its course of development, there are some problems that can not be overlooked, as demonstrated by: majors in colleges can't meet the need of the local economic structure .Employment structure can't be suited to the regional economic development ; The low localization employment rate can't suit the level of economic development in Anhui ; old system of education and social needs of educating people mechanism are incompatible; traditional teaching methods is unsuited to the requirements and social practice; old teaching plan and the type of highly skilled personnel training is also incompatible ; conservative curriculum is not suitable for characteristics of vocational education system ; the layout of economic development structure and the layout of Higher Vocational Education are incompatible, and so on. The main reason for this is: First, local government and department of education administration leadership, can't completely understand that the vocational education is an important basis of economic and social development and educational strategic focus. Second, higher vocational institutions did not properly est the goal of local economic development servicing personnel training. Fourth, enterprises lack driving force and pressure to arrangement for the employment of graduates from higher vocational. Fifth, "software" of the Vocational Colleges is backward. Sixth, the implementation of the job access system has not come into use.
