The Changes Of The Zhuang's Marriage Circles

There are many ways to know a nationality and understand it. For the sake of learning a nationality, it is a good way to study its culture.Marriage culture, which implicates a nation's values, thinking mode, aesthetic taste, moral system, religion and national disposition, is an epitome and concert reflection of ethnic culture. The development and evolution of marriage culture is not only straight embodiment of changes of marriage families, but also an epitome and reflection of social development and changes.Based on the above, it is very necessary for us to make further research on the Zhuang's marriage culture, clarify its historical evolution, discuss the reason of the changes, and predict the futural trend of its development. The research is not only favourable for us to widen our way of understanding the Zhuang, provide intellectual references for the research on the Zhuang and the Zhuang's social-economic and cultural construction and development. Meanwhile, it also embodies anthropology's value orientation for realistic solicitude about the research on the issue of changes.The dissertation tries to study on the changes of the Zhuang's marriage circle of Huang family of the Zhuang in Nanning city from the perspective of social changes. The construction of this article is as follows:The first part is introduction, which mainly tells of the significance of the subject, the review about the relative research, the research thoughts, the theoretical vision, the contents, the methods and the field experiences, and so on.Part two traces back the history of the field investigation point and Huang families of the Zhuang in Erdongpo, and analyze the social- economic development status of Erdongpo and its administrative village. Part three is about description and analysis on the research subject. In this part, firstly, the author introduces the marriage customs of Huang families of the Zhuang, and secondly, regarding the time as the clue, the author investigates the situation that economic development promotes the changes of the marriage circle. From the angle of space, surnames, inter-ethnic relationships and so on, the author makes further discussion on the origin of spouses of Huang families of the male Zhuang since 1963, and outlines the development track of the changes of marriage circle by comparison analysis on the materials about marriage of Huang families of the Zhuang in different historical periods.Part four analyses and inquires the factors leading to the changes of Huang families' marriage circle from the internal cause, such as the change of ways of mate selection, the changes of marriage ideas, and from the external cause , such as the economic and cultural development, population migration, intervention of medium, abolition and implementation of laws, etc.In closing, based on the above analysis, the dissertation generalizes the changing course of marriage circles of Huang families of the Zhuang in Nanning city. Combined with the relative materials, it will predict the future trends of its development and summarizes the research as well.
