Chinese higher vocational education has been showing a rapid development tendency. It can be intitled No. one in the speed of devolopment and scale. However, there are many issues involved in it. Among these issues, curriculum provision is the problem the people concern the most. Now most of higher vocational institutions use the CEB (Competency Based Education) curriculum methods to creat of a large number of professional skills courses. Under the guidance of common basic courses having not much help for professional skills, some higher vocational college reduced, even cancel some common coureses.The thesis attempts from four aspects: target of the course, content of the course, curriculum implementation and evaluation of the course, to analyze Swiss curriculum provision of higher vocational education and to understand the Swiss vocational education curriculum characteristics.And let us understand how important of common basic courses in higher professional talent training. And then the thesis analyses existed situation, influence factors and existed problems. Comparing with the Swiss model, we can learn from its success to improve our common basic courses infrastructureof higher vocational education.Besides the introduction part and conclusion part, the thesis is divided into five parts.The first part analyzes the Swiss higher vocational education curriculum and its characteristics, explains how it value the common basic courses in its higher vocational education. Thus, we can demonstrate the important role of common basic courses in the overall quality of students training capacity, improving their employment "flexibility" and a "comprehensive development" , and laying a good foundation for the life-long learning.The second part analyzes the higher vocational education curriculum of our own country, explains the current situation of our common basic courses, the affecting factors and the existing problems.The third part makes comparative study on the common basic courses in the higher vocationaleducation of China and Switzerland in target of the course, content of the course, curriculum implementation and evaluation of the course, finds the deficiencies of our common basic courses infrastructure.The forth part raises the countermesure to improve our common basic courses of higher vocational education from the four aspects: target of the course, content of the course, curriculum implementation and evaluation of the courses...
