| Comprehensive major sports venues generally refer to palaestras that can hold a number of major sports events by the government's investment and with a building area above 20,000 square meters. Because of the management system obstacles, obsolete business ideas, unreasonable construction layout, inconvenient transport design and other factors, the venus are not market-oriented and not open to society for a long period of time. Substantial investment has been made with no corresponding economic and social benefits. All of these are not conducive to the sustainable development of venues. The Fourth Session of the Eighth National People's Congress adopted the "National Economic and Social Development --the Ninth Five-Year-Plan and the 2010 Object Design" and clearly put forward to form a pattern of state and society operating the sports cause together to take the road of socialization and industrialization .Former State Sports Committee also proposed the principle of socializing sports and a system of sports-oriented, diversified operations to change them from state-operating to self-operating. In order to make comprehensive sports venues play a greater role in the development of sports undertakings and to preserve and increase the value of assets, we must explore one way of China's national conditions for the comprehensive management of large stadiums.In this paper, a comprehensive in-depth study and analysis is made on major sports venues' operating status at home and abroad .From the angle of the inevitability, advantages, business strategy and business conditions of integrated major sports venues' diversified operation, the thesis brings forward some suggestions on it. The thesis maintains that large-scale comprehensive sports venues must take a road of enterprises' market-oriented and diversified operations. The thesis also analyses the effecting factors and potential problems in the diversified operation of the large venues. The thesis makes concerned suggestions aiming at expanding the stadium operators' mind and promotes the sustainable development of comprehensive major sports venues. |
