Research On The Ethical Problems Of The Cyber Community

With the development of information society, the Cyber Community has extended beyond geographical restrictions of the social system, increasingly aroused people's attention and played an important role in current economy and culture construction.In theoretical circles, the definition of the Cyber Community has been difficult to conclusion. This article define the Cyber Community as follows: Cyber Community is the social aggregation in which members or groups in Internet area develop a code of conduct and the execution of the social function around a specific theme.The rise and development of the Cyber Community, reflects the growth of the Internet, and generally has four stages: Virtual Village, Concentrated Constellations, Cosmic Coalitions and Integrated Infomediaries. Most of the current domestic Cyber Communities are still in the focus of between Concentrated Constellations and Cosmic Coalitions.There are some common types of the Cyber Communities, such as Blog, Wiki, Bulletin Board System (BBS), Social Networking Services (SNS), Instant Messaging (IM), Net AD, etc. They all have the functions of linking, isolation and self-identity remodeling. In addition, they also have the functions of simulation, economics, consensus guidance and education. Anonymity is the most fundamental characteristics of the Cyber Communities.Physics Communities are different from the Cyber Communities, but they also have the same points. Firstly, they both have the new form of communication of public nature. Secondly, they both have a system of norms and constraints, the behaviour of members are required to comply with the "agreement" implementation. Thirdly, the Cyber Community is a reflection of the Physical Community, and and vice versa. Finally, they both basically have the same universal values.The Cyber Communities and Physics Communities have more different points. There is no "face-to-face" feature in the Cyber Communities because of the computer on-line communication.The special nature of the technical of Internet leads to new ethical problems, and the Cyber Community Ethics emerged following new features and development trends: the autonomy of the moral generation, the diversification of the moral form, the disorder of the moral application, and after all, the open identity of the moral spread. This paper will analyse the phenomenon of the ethics loss in the Cyber Communities from four aspects, that are the concepts, technology, content and symbols.From a moral point of view, the current Cyber Community ethical problems are all because of the technology imbalances and the alienation of human nature. From a technical point of view, human beings are empowered by technology from machines to individuals, and the control rights of the country also gradually shift to the individuals. The "bottom-up" change the code dominion, which is the ethical problem at source. From a point of view about humanities, human's existence changes, and the expectation and action fo all people was basically distorted.There are four norm that bind the human behaviour: the legal, social norms, the market and the code. However, there is a world rooted moral values in the common transcendental humanity - Supreme Good - that should be the eternal value of the instruction signs, as the basis of legislation, the establishment of a social mechanism and the management of network.The construction of the Cyber Community Ethics and Morality need to follow different evaluation criteria from the social reality: unity of history and reality, unity of the nationalization and international, unity of technical and humanity. We should follow the principles: the principle of autonomy, do no harm, good, justice, self-discipline, people-oriented and sustainable development. The construction of the moral system is a unprecedented project. It must match the overall social structure Internet Age's. We should establish the new socialist ethical system in Cyber Community for four ways: strengthening national laws, regulations, supervision and regulation, improving the main moral awareness, making great efforts to international cooperation and regulating the use of technical means.
