The Quality Popularity Of Higher Education Massilization

With sustained and rapid economic growth,China has become the world's fourth largest economy. Whether we can continue to maintain sustainable development and keep powerful competitiveness in a international pattern, the key is talent and the fundamental lies in education. Only having first-class education,we can have top-notch national strength and truly become a world-class country. In State Department education forum, Premier Wen points out:"the development of education affects not only now also the future and relates to economic prosperity,social advancement and people's quality development. Therefore , education development indeed is a project of vital and lasting importance. We must seize the opportunity of rapid economic growth and continue to vigorously develop education that will provide strong human resources supporting for building an innovation-oriented country,and realize socialist modernization.The development of higher education is an interdependent and mutual coordinated concept of a number,quality,structure,and effectiveness. Thus,the comprehensive and coordinated development of higher education needs an increase of the number, optimization of structure,a leap in efficiency,and the improvement of quality. Quality is the lifeline of education,and improving the quality of higher education has become the common theme of the World Higher Education. However,during China's initial stage of market economy,excessive scale of higher education will lead to an imbalance between the number and the quality of higher education. At present,the task of our higher education is to conscientiously sum up results and new problems of increased enrollment. Therefore,we must further understand the law of new popular education,continue to deepen the reform of higher education,deal with relations of the quantity and quality in development of higher education,and improve the quality of higher education vigorously,in order to make higher education bigger and stronger.This paper summarizes previous relative researches by employing literature review and theoretical analysis and probes into all-round aspects of higher education: definition, standards and attributes. Then there is an analysis of the outside environment for the development of mass higher education quality, which points out that higher education quality has been challenged by the enlargement of university enrollment, heated competition system and the coming of the new economy and"knowledge revolution". So it emphasizes the existing problems and formative reasons and for the assurance and enhancement of mass higher education quality, and provides some strategies.
