A Study On Ethic Dimensionality Of Database Technology And Its Influence On Social Configuration

It is well known that we are on the society trasition period. Rapidly developing information technology is pushing us into the threshold of information age. All kinds of information confused us because of his chaos, confusion and disorder. On the other hand, all kinds of databases provide us a platform of information management. This paper analyze the database from its characteristic of data structure,language to different meanings to different man holding different value viewpoint. Author believe that databases not only change the mode of information management, but also change the mode of human resources management. It becomes the new competitive field of information right. The politics about databases will come into the new balance basing on giving equal attention to individual freedom,economic interest and public power.The whole paper is composed of eight parts. Part one is foreword. Part two introduce the actuality about this topics research home and abroad. Part three discuss the correlation between technology characteristic of database and ethic problem. Part four﹑part five and part six introduce in turn important influence on enterprise operatation﹑individual life and national population management on the heel of interposition of database technology. In part seven , the author try to make a deeper philosophy thought about influence on individual life with the interposition of database technology. I draw an analogy between database filled with individual information and panopticon mentioned by Michel Foucault in his work Discipline and Punishment》. This new technology participate in the subject's configuration. Part eight is conclusion. In my opinion, in part three and part seven author has made a great innovation and it is necessary to make a deeper research about the viewpoints raised in these two chapters.
