Teachers'culture, as an important field in educational study, has a great meaning and function on the development of teachers and even schools. People exist as the existence of culture. The reason why people are respected equally as people is not that he has people's appearance, but he has people's heart and external behavior. And these things are all the results of culture. If you do not understand the culture that people are in, you will not understand people's existence. The teacher is a social professional community. All kinds of roles and behaviors that teachers bear make their thoughts, behaviors, attitudes and values have different characteristics from other social groups. It becomes a kind of relatively unique cultural form, i.e. teachers'culture. Teachers'culture which is formed by teachers'community in educational teaching is the values and behavioral standards that most members generally admit and observe. Teachers'culture has a great influence and distinct educational function on the teachers'development. It is difficult for other educational forms to substitute teachers'culture in molding teachers'character and morality. It is helpful to understand teachers'thoughts, words and deeds deeply with explanatory notes of culture to teachers and their life. The researcher has chosen a particular scene such as teachers'lounge to show a kind of realistic view of teachers'culture mainly through explaining environments and behaviors observed. It will help us to understand teachers'culture. Though this is only a little portion of teachers'culture, it is expected to play a role in conjuring up the whole thing through seeing a part of it.Teachers'lounge is an important field of teachers'life in school which is a particular space with double attributes of private and public fields. Here teachers have a concentrated scene which belongs to oneself but not totally to one's own. In order to understand what a kind of state teachers'culture is in, this research has adopted observation method, open interview and literature consultation. It is attempted to describe teachers'daily life in the lounge, understand their current situation and experience their inner world. This research tries to proceed from sociology theory to analyze the phenomenon of teachers'culture, thus to show the richness and complexity of teacher's culture. It will not only contribute to improve teacher's own cultural grade, but also facilitate to improve the management level of school. Thus it can offer the profound support system for educational reform.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts:Part one: Introduction, including research purpose and meaning, relevant concept defining, literature survey and research approach and thinking, etc.Part two: Summary of teachers'culture, mainly introducing the structure of teachers'culture, the main characteristics and functions of teachers'culture. This part has established the theoretical foundation for the following positive research and offered the analysis frame for the following chapter.Part three: It is the main part of the thesis which is divided into two chapters: Lounge—Platform of teachers'culture; Interpersonal relationship--A kind of show of teachers'culture. Teachers'lounge is their nearby environment and they often take activities. Teachers associate, prepare lesson, correct the homework and discuss questions here. These reflect teachers'direct interpersonal relationships in the lounge and represent the unique teachers'cultural phenomenon.The last part is the conclusion of part three. It is the thinking of teachers'culture based on the teachers'lounge and tentative conclusion (conclusion, inadequacy in the research, follow-up study plan, etc.)...
