The powerful development of Taekwondo in China also promote the whole level of competition in cities and curtail the gap in strength between the high-level athletes. Taekwondo has attracted the attention of provincial and municipal sports bureau after be the official events in the 9th National Games in 2001. Sichuan Province is the economic center in southwest,the Taekwondo competitive level represents the highest level in the southwest region, but there is still a gap compared with the eastern and central areas . Through the analysis of the whole standard of Sichuan Taekwondo Team, Taekwondo is a major growth point in the gold medal at Games, Championship Games and other major domestic events.Through literature, field surveys, the scene to observe, data analysis and other methods, analysis Taekwondo Team of Sichuan Province in the last two Games , several sports championships and the whole level of competition, use logical analysisa on the basis of several literatures . Find out the present situation and the main problems in the development of Sichuan taekwondo team, put forward some suggestions and Countermeasures for the future.Based on the research of Sichuan taekwondo team, come to the following conclusions:The present competitive level of Sichuan taekwondo team is in the second group, The whole level of Sichuan taekwondo team is in the lead, but individual athletic ability and sports level are not steady; few opportunities to attend competition, so lack of exchanges with high-level personnel in various fields;The system of Sichuan taekwondo team is not perfect, lack of systematic develop system in talent reserve, echelon also behind other provinces; competition allocation level is incomplete, especially in ascendancy grade athletes; Poor in scientific research and logistics; The funds of training and competition are insufficient to solve the needs of training, competition, research and medical, the collection of information in development of taekwondo competitions and the strong teams at home and abroad are not very good.In view of the current situation to make recommendations and responses : Hope the management departments at all levels should establish and improve the management, the system for stimulating staff initiative and regulations, strengthen the building and management rationalization, Strengthen the basis of amateur Taekwondo training , correctly lead Sichuan Taekwondo developing steadily. To the basis of practical experience, as scientific training theories as a guide, training the individual capacity of athletes in competitions. Increase opportunities to attend competitions. Strengthen exchanges with high-level team and learn the advanced management experience and training philosophy. Explore new sports training and competition theory, establish the base in talent reserve and do a good job in echelon. Increase the number of distribution level, particularly in the Edge-level———at least two people; establish a training, research and medical trinity, strengthen the scientific research ,we should actively carry out research and solve problems.
