Since 1990s,such a research method named Narrative in Education was gradually on rise.It provides a new approach to teachers of middle schools and primary schools for science research in education."Narrative in Education"is that teacher narrates story in manner of first-person to develop research of teacher's oneself. Teacher is not only a role of the story and also the narrator of the story.The contents of the story involve in daily life,education practices,and solving approach to some educational problems of the teacher's own self.As a research method,Narrative in Education was introduced to education field from other academic fields initially.It is an application of"narrative research"in education field.Using one-saying-own-story method,Narrative in Education expresses teacher's introspection of education and teaching according to teacher's individual practice.Narrative in Education is becoming a hotspot gradually in current education field。In long term,prevailing of natural science research method in education field makes numerous teachers of middle and primary schools the"silent mass".The occurrence of Narrative in Education breaks limitations of traditional education research,and makes education research not the patent of education theoretician any more.As teacher narrating own story,Narrative in Education represent the original state of education,and is very easy to operate for teachers.So Narrative in Education becomes one of the first choices of school-based training and science research of many schools and teachers.Narrating the education affairs met by teacher's oneself can not only lead to inspiration and response,but also make teacher introspect own education life,and improve teacher's own education practices.Introspectiveness makes Narrative in Education play an important role in the professional growth of teachers.With many advantages,Narrative in Education is how to be performed in teachers,whether it achieves the purpose experts originally supposed to achieve,and how many problems exist in it are the problems this study ready to resolve.This study bases on real education scene,and integrates empirical research and theoretical constructing organically.At first,through relevant theory inquiring,this study analyses relevant literatures,and studies the meaning,rising and characteristics to explain the reason of possibility of Narrative in Education,and provides the theoretic basis of Narrative in Education research for teachers.In second stage,it will perform empirical research.Through the analysis to present situation of Narrative in Education in N school of Jinan,this study discusses the real significance of Narrative in Education,and how it is going among teachers of primary schools.It also discusses understandings of teachers of primary schools to Narrative in Education,the achievements and existing problems in application.This study attempts to reflect the whole of Narrative in Education from parts of it,and conclude the strategies of promotion of Narrative in Education.
