Aesthetic education has so many functions such as humanity, interest, appreciation, education and feasibility and it exert a subtle influence on the educated person to make them have the abilities of appreciation of beauty, creativity, perception and thinking in imagines. Aesthetic education can also cultivate the noble sentiment, healthy interest and perfect personality of the students. The fine arts which is a main branch of aesthetic education is a required course in our present compulsive education. The functions of the fine arts can't be divided from the educational ones of the general art which include the full development of the personality and individuality, the abilities of cognition, appreciation of beauty, and creativity.Quality education started in our county from the 1980s. With the development of education, the fine arts education has won the unparalleled attention. Because it has the functions like cultivating the students'appreciation of beauty, perception, creativity, imagination and thinking in images. It has also made many people realize its unique effect on improving and perfecting the personal qualities.To realize the full development and perfect the personality of the students in primary and middle schools, it is necessary to have a prospective and creative device for the art classes which is the main channel of middle school fine arts education. It is necessary to insist the following principles :We must believe in that every student has the ability of learning art and have different degrees of developments on their latent quality when we carry out the art education at the stage of compulsive education .Art course should cater to the requirements of quality education and it should be available to all the students and pay attention to the development of personality, the experience of appreciating beauty and art practice. Art course should arouse the learning interest of students and let students experience the rules of art learning, form the basic art accomplishment and learning ability, which will make a base for the life-long study. As the Standers of Fine Arts Course puts forward ,which is included in the Outlines of the Course Reform.The art teachers should start from the"humanism", making a full use of the content which involves the rational and perceptual aspects of art education. They should convey the functions of the aesthetic education by exerting a subtle influence on the students themselves. By using the latest education ideas and models, they should make detail and concrete teaching targets according to the grades and ages of the students. They should combine the students and teaching materials with the original teaching methods, which are the key factors of teaching, to optimize the teaching devices and put them into practice in art teaching. Only in this way, can we avoid the blindness and arbitrariness in art teaching and let the teachers get twice results with half the effort in teaching research and practice. These relates very closely to the success and failure of the art classes and fulfilling the targets of art education. Teaching device, in a simple word, refers to the systematic plans, arrangements, and decisions which are made by the teachers who what to fulfill certain teaching targets. Creative device of the middle school art class includes four characters: the guidance from interest to appreciation of beauty, from education to humanity, from comprehension to the construction of creative ideas, from circumstances to imagination. Its basis should be based on the creative education ideas and the needs of students.When we put the art teaching into practice we should combine the teachers , students, books, teaching models, and teaching methods together, and use them scientifically, nimbly, and individually.
