China has always been a patriarchal society with blood ties to the country, the impact of the family to people is very large. The family education and its influence to a person's growth is larger than the school education. China's family has formed its own unique ethnic traditions. As the carrier of culture, family uses blood preserves and transfers culture, transferring the traditional Chinese virtues. It can be say that family is the most primitive, most sincere, most lasting education. Family life education is the first education of people and the basis of every education, meanwhile, it is the first position of people's socialization. In China, in the process of a person's socialization, family education plays a more important role than in the western countries. Family education plays a significant role in the form of traditional Chinese character. The Chinese nation has always known the importance of the family education, we have a long history of family education. In several thousand years of history, we have accumulated rich experience and multitude of family education literature, with years of the development, they become a whole Chinese nation's fine culture of the society, it is right for our future generations to make them worthy of serious study. This is of great theoretical and practical significance. This paper gives a historical background of the traditional Chinese education in the first, through the description of concept and the principle of family education, evaluating the history of traditional Chinese family education evaluation, putting out seven recommendations of Chinese family education. First,we are trying to set up parents schools; Second, conducting extensive educational activities, updating the values of family education; third, setting up the counseling services of education and family; fourth, trying to clean the books market; fifth, government should give policy guidance and financial support; sixth, family education should be go step by step; seventh, school, family and community should go together to creating the bright future of family education.
