As early as 708 BC when the 18th ancient Athens Olympic Games were held, the pentathlon included discus throwing. This event was competed in not only for distance, but also for precision. But with the development of competitive sports, the event developed towards competition. Most of people paid attention to the distance rather than the precision and stability of performance technique.During the training and teaching sessions, many factors must be taken into account. By making use of the synthetical effect of these factors, we can improve the performance technique of track and field athletes in competition or training. The demanding rotational discus throw technique must be considered by teachers and coaches. The needs of discus throwing performance techniques are determined by the specialties in this event. The stability of techno-motor performance can't only be attained by emphasizing on the four factors (angle of release, height of release, velocity of release and aerodynamic factors) which determine the distance of discus throw.The research on the rotational discus throw techno-motor performance can reveal its function in the technique. Based on investigating the materials, consulting experts, aiming at the specialities of discus throw techniques, the author selected some means of exercises to improve the stability of discus throw techno-motor performance. Twelve athletes were randomly selected. After training and testing, the author got the assessment data of the athletes'techniques from experts, the placement of athletes'feet, the landing of the discus and the timing of the technique phases. After analyzing these information, The author was able to draw some conclusions as follows:1. The stability of techno-motor performance is very important in the course of throwing. Teachers and coaches must pay more attention to it.2. The means of stability of backward rotation can improve the stability of the turn of the left foot, shoulder and arm.3. The means of backward rotation with a bar over the shoulders can improve the stability of'trailing'the discus behind and the'closed'position of non-throwing arm.4. The means of stability of rotation exercise in the divisions made on the discus circle can improve the placement of the feet, the stability of placing the feet, acceleration rhythm, consistency and amplitude.5. The means of continuous rotation with a barbell bar or a stick over the shoulders can improve the stability of axis of rotation.6. The means of complete throwing can improve the stability of the movement of the right side of the body, the support of left side of the body, the direction and timing of release.7. The use of exercise the means of stability of techno-motor performance designed in this thesis can improve the ratio of success without negative effects on the result and time of the technique phases.Based on the analysis and findings arrived at, the researcher would like to make the following recommendations:The teachers and coaches should pay more attention to the importance of stability of techno-motor performance in discus throwing. The athletes should relatively improve the stability of techno-motor performance which can influence the result.In the teaching and coaching sessions, teachers and coaches must make new innovations. Based on the specialties of the athletes, they (the teachers and coaches) must demand more from the athlete. They must improve the stability of the discus throw techno-motor performance of the athletes by using various methods and means, so that they can get the exertion of technique, and then achieve excellence.
