In the 21st century, Knowledge is becoming the most important resource and knowledge innovation is the main cause of the development of the society. Therefore, In order to adapt to the situation of new era, education must be free from the bind of the traditional form of education and the new forms of study approaches ought to be sought after. Teachers are extremely important in the change. Exploratory study offers the innovation chances to the teachers. There are two types of exploratory study. That is: either subject research out of the classes or the exploratory study in the daily teaching classes. In the past years, this kind of approach has been tried in my schools and some experience has been achieved. Nevertheless, teachers pay more attention to the research after classes while ignore it at class. Classes are still teacher-centered.Why do these phenomena come about? The function of teachers'roles is one of the important reasons. If teachers'roles are luminaries or persons of input, exploratory study can not be used completely. On the contrary, Students use the research approaches to study, to seek after and acquire the knowledge with the help of teachers, this approach is exploratory study. In this kind of situation, teachers'roles are spreaders of knowledge, learners, directors, organizers as well as creators of culture. This thesis focuses on the fact of my own school. It is a study of the exploratory study of the course of Economic Common Sense of senior one, which is about how the teachers can innovate their roles in the new form of teaching. From the theory and the author's own experience, the author tries to show that it is necessary to change the teachers'teaching ideas and teaching behavior. By changing the teachers'roles, a kind of real effect can come into being instead of the superficial effect. The thesis is helpful in training the persons of ability and enriching the exploratory theory.
