Consideration On How To Strengthen College Students' Education On Integrity

Integrity, the basic behavior in the economic field,the basic principle of social norms guiding the interpersonal relations, the important foundation and symbol of modern civilization, is the traditional virtue of Chinese people. Nowaday College students are the hope and future of the Chinese people,the fresh force of socialist modernization construction, both the conveyer and the receiver of human knowledge and civilization. In order to cultivate constructors and successors for socialist cause one generation after another, all the time Chinese higher education is attaching high importance to the students'moral education and personality forming. However,accompanying with Chinese economic reform, her opening up to the outside world and the gradual establishment of socialist market economy,diversifications of the profit subject, organizational forms, living style, severe employment environment all impact people's thoughts. Influenced by the negative factors of the market economy, confronted with various interests,some people go back on good faith,and care merely about interests and totally forget righteousness. For some time,fake and inferior qualified commodities flood into the market and some government officials are keen on the deal of power and money, which causes a serious challenge to the cultivation of social values and leads to the emergence of social crisis of good faith and affects college students accordingly. Therefore, it's not rare to find that college students ask others to take tests, cheat on tests, copy others'assignment, plagiarize others'scientific achievements, fail to return due loans and so on. Integrity education has become one leading problem of current ethic education. Aiming at this problem,the author analyzes the state and reasons of integrity of college students with a positive attitude and explores into feasible solutions from the level of construction of educational system,which will provide an impetus to the ethic construction. From the perspective of Marxist philosophy, based on the profound connotation of integrity and its status in Chinese traditions, with the analysis of the present state of integrity of college students, the thesis dwells on the necessity and urgency of cultivation of integrity and anatomies the perplexity of college students'education on integrity for faithlessness and discusses on how to construct related educational system. Then the author educed the importance of college students'education on integrity and offers some specific solutions to the problem.
