Through investigation on extracurricular sports activities of college and university students in Jiangsu Province, this article provides with references in the fields of promoting the reform of physical education, implementing the life-time sports participation, so as to organize and administer more effectively.Extracurricular sports activities refer to all the sports activities that students take part in after P.E. class, including those they plan purposely or spontaneously both in school and outside school. These activities are not only the important part of physical education but also one of the approaches to attain the school sports goals.Students are both the educational objects and adjuster of physical education in school. The paper deals with investigation and analysis on the present state of college and university students sports activities after school by means of questionnaire, documents, and mathematical statistics. Based on the theory of systematic theory, lifetime theory, psychology theory and big curriculum theory, this paper makes a general description and explanation of college and university students extracurricular sports activities from different angles.Conclusions: some achievements have been made in the reform of physical education in colleges and universities. But there is still much space for the improvement of the reform. The state of students'participation in sports activities is not satisfactory. The organization and management of these activities is slack and ineffective, which needs further improvement. |
