The quality of education and the development of students are the core issues in the academic research field. With the rapid increase in the number of the post-graduate students, the quality and the development of the post-students gradually attract the attention of academic research. With this background, this paper focuses on the school life of the post-graduates and the improvement of their life value.This paper which starts from the life of the post-graduate students advances the new concept----"the researching life"with the objective investigation of the institute and the feeling the understanding of the post-graduates."The researching life"of the post-graduates is a learning life concerning the research. It is a learning process which the post-graduates'lives spread out and become plentiful under the specific educational background. It is not only the special process that the post-graduates pursue the self-improvement, but also an exploration in pursuing the knowledge.The school life of the students possesses the value of life which satisfies the growth of life, and"surpass value"which satisfies creativity of life. The post-graduates'"researching life"contains the"life-value", expressing the need to satisfy their growth and the meaning of life. The height of the life-value can be measured by post-graduates'subjectivity in"researching life". The"researching life"contains specially the"learning-value", which expresses the need in researching and creating in the process of the post-graduates'learning. And the height of the learning-value can be measured by the researching of the"researching life".According the investigation, the subjectivity of the post-graduates presents a loser, and the life-value in"researching life"diminishes. The subjectivity of the post-graduates has been restricted by the reality. The post-graduates can not actively learn which presents its negative factor. At the same time, their researches have been weakened, and the learning-value of"researching life"diminished, which can be proved by the class teaching that are almost the same as the undergraduate's .That makes them pay attention to the learning not the research. They are not enough concerned with research and lack the exchange of the research.The actual cause mainly affected by the conception and the realistic educational conditions. The post-graduates lack the subjective concept and the researching intention, which restricted by the traditional culture, exam-oriented thinking and the educational value of standing for knowledge, these should affect the life-value and the learning-value of the"researching life".The self-improvement and the academic dreaming of the post-graduates are restrained by the management system and the rapid increase in the number of post-graduates which affects researching condition as well as the teacher-student ratio.The full improvement of the value of the"researching life"should transfer minds, provided the educational conditions and let the graduates grow up under nurture of culture. We should persist in the principle of the improvement of person as well as the seeking of the knowledge innovation. In practice, education and practice activities of research should be taken conscientiously to establish the major status of graduate students and strengthen research mentality; meanwhile, we should lay emphasis on the effect of research and education from tutors. On cultural construction, we should take great pains to build a kind of atmosphere with freedom, equality and open, thus to realize the improvement of the quality of both the life and the education of post-graduates by pursuing the value of the"researching life".
