Under the background of the basic education reform, it has become an essential topic on improving and developing the professional quality of primary school teachers in the field of teacher's education research .However,in some country areas,many affected factors still exsit. So a new way of on-the-job training should be appealed for teachers.In order to meet the needs and desire of the professional development of primary school teachers in the extensive rural areas. School-based study has emerged as the times demand,like life-giving spring breeze and rain. School-based study is a mode of on-the-job training for teachers.It is organized spontaneously by schools themselves,based on them and in and through schools.Being based on the thought of lifelong education, school-based study gives direct service to teachers'professional development,by combining it with centralized training.Based upon school-based study, my research faces primary school mathematics teachers'development.It takes primary school mathematics teachers as the target of the research and regards school-based study developed by primary school mathematics teachers as carrier,such as"reflect and study by oneselves","companions help each other","led by profession"etc.It mainly uses document analytical method, action research method and qualitative research method ,etc. And by summing up,giving substantial evidence and analyzing to the collecting research data,the purpose of my research will delineate that school-based study is one of the most effective ways of promoting primary school mathematics teachers'professional development as possible as I can.The contents of my article are as following:Chapter 1,it tells the basis for researching problems,that is ,why teachers need school-based study,and why it is connected with primary school mathematics teachers'professional development.Chapter 2 contents theory foundation. Firstly,it elaborates the basic theory of the school-based study to the primary school mathematics teachers and the ideas and methods of the design of the school-based study.Chapter 3 is the key part of this research.It contains four parts.Firstly,research methods——mainly the research methods adopting during the research course;secondly,research process——mainly the collecting,deducing and sorting out about the research data;thirdly,conclusion and analyse——approaching that the three key activities of the school-based study are starting point,power and guidance of the primary school mathematics teachers'profession;and last,conclusion——mainly clarifies that the school-based study has certain acceleratial founction to the primary school mathematics teachers'professional development.Chapter 4,it mainly speculates over and reflect to the problems existing in my research and give developing advice.In addition,I briefly present current research situation about mathematics teachers'professional development and school-based study in the introduction, and also in the concluding remarks I am trying to"search a middle zone"for the professional feeling of the rural primary school mathematics teachers.
