Study is the starting point of the education activity. Master of learning style is very important for effective educational activities. Nowadays the curriculum and teaching are heading for the diversification. Take example as learning style, we should set up the new view that the difference is a kind of resource and treasure. Every student is an independent entity. In fact, their learning styles are the reflection of their character. Everyone has their own best, most effective advantage learning style. Therefor, It is particularly necessary to respect the differences, diversity, uniqueness of students. We should pay attention to the students' unique feelings, experience, subject, as well as to develop their potential. Only find this standpoint, can we achieve the goal that we train everybody to be the multi-specifications talented person. Thus it can be seen that paying attention to the difference of learning style, especially the advantage learning style, is very necessary to improve the effect of English teaching in high school and implement quality education.Under this background, based on Pianet's theory of cognitive structure and Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, this paper adopts questionnaires and interviews, with tliree representative high schools of Chongqing for individual cases. It has studied high school students' overall use of English learning style and advantage learning style of senior students in different regions, different levels of schools. different levels of learning and different gender and the difference character. The research shows that the advantage learning styles used by middle and lower students can't really improve their results, while the advantage learning styles used by better student are really fit themselves and can improve the effectiveness of English learning. These excellent learning styles have the following characteristics : Independency, participation, validity and diversity. The problem existing in the use of advantage learning styles by middle and lower students is the passive, blindness and oneness.So this paper proposed the corresponding suggestions:1. Pay attention to the student difference and personalized instruction for Learning English. 2. Innovate education concept and diversify English teaching design. 3. Transform the concept of learning, and English learning style should be multidimensional, combined with superiority and diversity, flexibility and stability, development and endurance.
