Creativity consciousness is the internal constraints of individual creative activities, and is the core of it. Though most previous researches have focused on the importance and the function of creativity consciousness, till now there is no one unified and clear definition in its concept and connotation. Based on the studies at home and abroad, we define creative conscious as individual cognition and attitude to creativity and the emotion and intention raised by it, this psychological activity or process consists of three components: creative cognition, creative emotion and creative motivation.Creative personality is the intrinsical, stable and lasting personality that can stimulate individual to be creative. The researches are fruitful both at home and abroad, and now have got convincing conclusion: creative personality does exit and can predict the creative achievement of individual.Creative education is the intrinsical characteristics of graduate student education, however, as the key high-level talents and the constructing main power of creative-oriented country, the creative ability status of the graduate student students in our country is worrying, so how to foster creative-oriented talents in the graduate student education is still the realistic problem urgently need to think and solve. Graduate student's creativity consciousness and personality take a very important role in the fostering of creative-oriented students, so based on the large amount of relevant researches and the modification of the existing scales,"Graduate student's Creativity consciousness Questionnaire"and"Graduate student's Creative Personality Questionnaire"are self-made to test the relative characteristics of current graduate student's creativity consciousness and personality and further test the predicting strength of creative personality to creativity consciousness. All together 535 valid questionnaires are used to survey the graduate student in Chongqing and the following conclusions are made:1. From an overall perspective, the current graduate student's creativity has yet to be improved. Through the analysis of the 3 components of creativity consciousness, the level of creative cognition is the highest; then is creative motivation, and internal motivation is higher than the external motivation; the creative emotion is relatively lower.2. There are significant positive relation among creative cognition, emotion and motivation and their sub-factors. Besides, there are different degrees of significant differences in different sex, discipline, working experience and different grades in the three components.3. Graduate student's creative personality consists of 5 sub-factors: smart , versatility, stiffness, diligent and vision ahead. Generally speaking: the creative personality of male students are higher than the female ones, comparing to the students in the other two grades, the creative personality of the second grade students are lower, but there is no significant differences in different disciplines.4. Generally speaking, there are very significant differences in the 3 components of creativity consciousness between the high creative personality group and the low one, the creativity consciousness in creative personality group is significantly higher than the low group. Through the regression analysis test, in the 5 factors of creative personality, smart and versatility have the significant predicting power to creativity consciousness, the regression equation is the following: creativity consciousness =2.549+0.125*smart+0.077*versatility.
