The research on teachers is mainly carried out in pedagogicfield for a long time. Obviously it will be limited in theaspects of professional accomplishment and the structure ofknowledge because of the unitary research ken. But teachers'work is a representative process about the mutuality affect andthe interacting between persons, between person and theenvironment. To study and solve the complicated problem met bythe teacher during the development process, we must exceed thelimitation of unitary mode of thinking and utilize the effectfrom other subjects. Ecology is a science studying livingthings and their environment. It is also a kind of scientificthought method. It provides one kind of new view angle andeffective implement. The essay takes the value of ecology andthe ecological principles and methods into account, taking theecology mode of thought, using the methodology of entirety,system, balance, development as implement, using a series ofecological phenomenon to discuss teachers' development.At first, this essay treats the development of the teacheras an opening studying system from the ecology visual angle.It is also an ecological unit composed by teachers and theirenvironment and a dynamic process consisting of individual development, professional growth and the change of therelationship with others.Take it as a basic view, this essay makes ecology analysisabout teachers' development. Teachers ' development is suchan ecosystem including the ecological main body and theecological environment. As the main body of this ecosystem, itincludes teachers' life system and professional structuresystem. Firstit should establish the ecological ideology which takes theharmony between human being and the nature as core value. The teacher also should do something to relieve themselves. Weshould dispel these restricting factors to build out a greenenvironment for teachers.
