Research On Counselors' Specialization Of College Students Affair

The counselor of college student is the integral part of college teacher, is the important power of modeling Healthy-Developing students and protecting collegial and social reform, development and stability, is the major undertaker of college student affairs, and functions as a key role in ideological education and day-to-day management of college student. In order to meet the requirements of social development as to career specialization and face the challenges brought by the connotation deepening and epitaxial widening of higher education as to student affairs,the basic direction for the development and professional training should be made clear to the college counselor construction. Now at home and abroad the study of student affairs generally focuses on the "specialization and professionalization". From the thinking provoked by practical work and based on the analyses of the status and reasons for the current counselor construction, this paper puts forward that counselor construction should take the way of specialization and professionalization. Wherein this paper emphasizes on the meaning, connotation and target of the counselor specialization of college student affairs. Based on the status and issues of the counselor specialization of college work, this paper puts forward the access strategy of college counselor specialization and the specific implementation strategy of current college counselor specialization.
