Viewing the pre-service TE(TE=teacher education) in all of the countries, there are two typical trainning modes: the pre-service TE in England combining direction oriented and direction non-oriented, and the pre-service TE in America characaterizing non-oriented direction. The two differently open modes have their respective course offering systems, which can give some inspiration and referrence for TE in China at present. Therefor, based on the pioneer's reserch, the dissertation compares the course offering for pre-service teacher in England with America, is devoted to supporting reference for the TE which orientioning to be comprehensive and advance, and to impelling the TE in China to orient to modernize and internationalization.There are four parts in this dissertation. The part one defines the concept of course offering for pre-service TE, gives its descriptive and operating definition in TE, and introduces the research method and thought of the dissertation. The part two trys to find some general principles in the course offering for pre-service TE through comparing the course offering for pre-service TE in England and America from four aspects: the institution, the curriculum aim, the curriculum structure and the curriculum content. The part three generallizes the attributes of the course offering for pre-service TE in England and America, and estimates the effects of the course offering for pre-service TE in England and America. The part four advances enlightenment for the reform and development of pre-service TE in China.
