Being influenced by the education for exam only, it's existed widespread that taking reading and writing seriously, but ignoring the development of listening and speaking in Chinese teaching in primary school. Thinking highly of writing, underestimating speaking is the common failing of Chinese teaching. In composition teaching, oral composition, as a part of it, has never been taken good serious, no matter on theory or on practice, especially in the lower grades. Many teachers consider that their teaching tasks are characters and words, speaking and writing are the tasks of senior. So the practicing of oral expression is a kind of formalization, even noting at all. It leads to that the students flinch at difficulties in senior's writing.Since the new standard of Chinese curriculum promulgated, the training of students' speaking has been taken into seriously. But the research fellows of oral composition teaching in lower grades are few. And the present research stops at the forms of training, is far away from the reading class teaching, that is the main battlefield of oral composition training, and not even combine it with oral composition teaching. The oral composition teaching is still in the groping phase, being short of systematic theory and practiced study.For this reason, starting from the real needs, connecting practices, we did a thorough exploration on the theories and practices of junior oral composition teaching as follows:Part one is introduction. It expounds the questions, the comments on the interrelated theory research, the meanings of the study, the main conceptions and the scopes. Part two is the theory research of the junior class oral composition teaching in primary schools. It discusses the main features, the teaching aims, basic laws of teaching and the teaching principles of oral composition. Part three is practiced research of junior oral composition teaching. It expounds the tactics, the modes, the teaching methods and the evaluation of oral composition teaching, and so on. During the research, we especially fix our eyes upon how to permeate oral composition training into reading teaching. In the case of within the class teaching and not increasing students' studying burden, we make it practicable to be in the service of improving students' oral expression.
