The Study Of Training System Of Reserving Chinese Taipei's Swimming Personnel

Swimming is the second largest project in Olympic Games, and there is a saying in the international sports world ---"Who dominates the subjects of athletics and swimming, who dominates the whole world." The swimming program in China Taipei has gained none in the Olympic Games and International Championship for several years, which doesn't match to its reputation as one of the Asian Economical Four Dragons. The tenet of China Taipei Swimming Association is to "promote swimming sports, raise the standard of swimming technique, prove the health of people, and carry forward the sporting spirit." The Swimming Association's working orientation is "put forward athletics and recreation together." From the tenet, working orientation, and current situation, we can see, however, the object, which is to raise the swimming standard and pay more attention to artistic swimming, is not being efficiently carried out. Through reading the relevant materials and researching and analyzing the swimming situation in China Taipei, we found that one of the key factors to affect the swimming standard in China Taipei is the developing mechanism of reserve personnel's . Therefore, this essay has made an analysis of the backward condition in China Taipei Swimming Program by adopting the basic principles and researching techniques of comparative methods, sociology, etc. Through historical reviews of the development of Taiwan swimming program, this essay presents the present situation about the reserve personnel training system of Taiwan Swimming Association, discovers the factors that affect the reserve personnel training system of China Taipei artistic swimming, and proposes the countermeasures and the suggestions for improving reserve personnel training system in Taipei. The objective of this essay is to enhance the competition ability of China Taipei swimming, narrow the gap between Taipei and other swimming powerful nations, and view the development trend of Taiwan swimming program under the background of ever-changing global swimming pattern.
