The high school students' stress in learning is becoming a more and more serious issue, how to release the stress needs attentions from school and the whole society. Although the stress in learning is known to everyone, in reality, many schools do not carry out effective methods to release it. Among the factors which affect stress in learning, social support plays an important role.With an overview and analysis of the researches in stress in learning and social support, the author finds that there are very few demonstration researches.To make up this kind of defect, the author chose 540 students to fill in the questionnaires, who are from twelve classes in three grades of two high schools, in Henan Province, to find out what the reality of high school students' stress in learning and social support. By using SPSS11.5 to analyze the data, the author got the results as follow. On stress in learning: More than half of the high schools students are faced with serious stress, many students lose self-confidence because of the academic results; many students give up the opportunities to communicate with classmates and exercise, in order to learn; many students can not sleep at night. On social support: the social support is more form parents and classmates, than from school and teachers; girls get more support than boys; students from the better school get more support than students from the common one; students from the county get more support than students from villages; many students do not get enough economic support. On the correlation of stress in learning and social support: the relationship between social support form classmates, parents, school and teachers, and stress in learning is negative, but their correlation is not significant; but the correlation between the economic support and stress in learning is significantly negative.The results show a lot of problems. So the author gives suggestions to students, parents, school and teachers, and the related institutions, in order to release their stress in reality. To students: they should use time in scientific way; should not take the academic results that serious; use active ways to release the stress, like exercise and listen to the music and so on. To parents: they should pay more attention to the mental health of their children. To school and teachers: school should strengthen the psychological education to improve the mental health of students, organize more meaningful and interesting activities, perfect the scholarship system; during the instruction, teachers should pay attention to students' mental level to "educate" students in reality. To the related institutions of the country: the related institutions should develop the vocational education according to the local conditions; better the courses; perfect the scholarship system.
