View Of The Chinese Ancient Bureaucratic System

This paper focuses on discussion of channels to bureaucratic system. In another word, the key object of this paper is to investigate how the social structure could keep a kind of dynamic balancing relationship between social system and circulation mechanism. Therefore , this paper mainly interests in making a sociological explanation of the circulative channels of ancient Chinese elite by another angle, i.e. theory of elite circulation based on the existing fact. The key train of thought is toThrough the carding of theory of social circulation and social structure, and use theory of elite circulation by Paleto1. Understand relationship between Chinese traditional social stratum and social circulation by studying relationship between modern and traditional social constructions.2. Relationship between the features of development of Chinese bureaucratic system itself and elites;3. explain the circulative system of Chinese bureaucratic system by theory of elite circulation, especially channels of social elite to become members of the ruling stratum through bureaucratic system, i.e. external circulative system of bureaucratic system.Thereinafter, we are trying to study these problems:1. Find out the way how Chinese bureaucratic system function itself; 2. Explore new ideas of finding the relationship between the development of Chinese bureaucratic system and social stability to lay a sound basis for the study of new problems.The first chapter is a simple review of the bureaucratic system in ancient China to describe the condition and features of the birth of the ancient Chinese bureaucratic system, and discuss the angle western scholars use to study ancient Chinese bureaucratic system. Thus we arrived at the conclusion that we should treat the effects of ancient Chinese bureaucratic system on ancient Chinese society. The second chapter is to analyze the classical model of western scholars and raise theory of intellectual circulation by Paleto. Then we can use theory of intellectual to study the circulative system of ancient Chinese bureaucratic system, and review the roles intellectual play between Chinese ancient bureaucratic system and social balance and the mode these three parts mutually constructed.The third chapter is to discuss channels and ways of the elite into the bureaucratic field, especially emphasis on the problem of elite's external circulation, from which we could find the relationship between ancient elitecirculation and social circulation , and the relationship between external circulation and social stability.In the summary, we got a model of mutual construction between intellectual circulation and social system by the analysis in the above passage.
