Moral education plays an important role in China's education all the time. Under the reforming and opening-up and globalization situation, it's beneficial to draw on the experience of cultural and moral education in different countries on the basis of comparative analysis to enhance the construction and development of socialist morality in China. In the process of practicing"the three faces", it is beneficial to use the experience of the foreign countries for reference to improve the moral education in Chinese schools according to the characteristics of the Chinese students and the present situation of moral education in Chinese schools. By drawing the experience of the foreign countries, we can set up a scientific socialist moral education system which is full of Chinese characteristics. In this article, the author elaborates her views from the following five aspects.In the first chapter, having compared the sources of the theoretical basis of moral education in Chinese schools with that in European and other Asian countries, the author finds some similarities and differences on the theoretical basis of moral education between Chinese and foreign schools.In the second chapter, the author comparatively analyses the characteristics and key points of the aims of moral education in each country, and draws some similarities and differences on the aims of moral education between Chinese and foreign schools. In the third chapter, the author draws some similarities and differences on the content of moral education between Chinese and foreign schools by comparing the different particular emphasis on which different countries lay on the content of moral education.In the fourth chapter, the author continues to make some comparison on the types and characteristics of teaching approaches on moral education, and finds that there are some similarities and differences on the teaching approaches of moral educationbetween Chinese and foreign schools.Having made so many comparison in the first four chapters, the author here in this chapter draws a conclusion on the enlightenment she get from the comparative analysis of moral education between Chinese and foreign schools, and then she gives some relative proposals to improve the moral education in Chinese schools from the following four points of moral education: the development of the theory, the setting of teaching aims, the selecting of teaching content and approaches.
