In July 2001, The Chinese Curriculum Standard of Full-time Compulsory Education (experimental version) is issued ceremoniously, in which, the essence of the Chinese curriculum had been prescribed as "Chinese is the most important communication tool, and an important component of the human culture. Unification of instrumentality and humanity, is the basic characteristic of Chinese curriculum. " Just as the title indicating, this thesis is written to oppugn "the theory about unification of double quality" which is the essence of the Chinese curriculum defined by the new curriculum standard.The principle part of the thesis is divided into four sections as following: The first section is that the conclusion and analysis of various sayings refer to "the theory about unification of double quality" since the new curriculum standard came out. There are authority articles think the fusion trend of the science doctrine and humanism inside of the world scope is the logic foundation of "the unification of double quality", leading long the tool and science doctrine of the language to pull together. This thesis putting forward the unification of the language and the basic principle of science doctrine are two matters, they have no inevitable contact.
