Logarithmic played an important role in history. A great Marxism founder of Engels gives "the logarithm" invention by very high appraisal. The inventions, Carl's, the logarithmic, Newton and Leibniz's fluxionary calculus are called as the three greatest mathematics inventions in 17th century. As to the using of modern calculating tools, logarithmic is no longer popular, but it is still an important part of secondary school mathematics. During teaching practice, it is found that students have a few problems with logarithmic learning.Based on conducting a questionnaire survey and interviews cases by 378 single-secondary vocational school students and 177 high school students, the thesis analyses logarithmic on the following five aspects of the problem from both quantitative and qualitative analysis with the help of SPSS and EXCEL statistic software: understanding several logarithmic models, the common mistakes and reasons when solving logarithmic problems, effect on student's logarithmic learning by math history, impact on logarithmic by teaching interference. The conclusions of this article are:1.The log learning of the vocational single-entranced students is in a superficial level, which is reflected in : (1)they don't understand the function of log;(2) they don't have a complete knowledge structure on log learning.2. To the single-entranced students, the main obstacles to learn log are as follows: (1) the acceptance of a few log symbols.(2) the understanding the meaning of log and the conception of function; (3) the negative impact of migration.3.Factors: students, emotion, attitude, gender, grade, textbook(1) Students: the results of log learning of the high school students are better than the single-entranced students. And they have a more complete knowledge structure on log learning than them. But there are no significant difference between the two groups in solving problems (Shapes method used).(2) The three factors, which are emotion, attitude and students log learning, have significant positive correlation. To our surprise, the single-entranced students have the same emotion and attitudes of math as the high school students.(3) Gender: girls are significantly better than boys in understanding log, but have fewer flexibility.
