With development of our society and high socialization in production, awareness of cooperation and team spirit is extensively stressed in every field. Many worldly known companies and enterprises have explicated it as the basic quality of their talents. And cultivation of team spirit has become a social focus. But what is exactly team spirit? There exists no strict definition up to now. Many books written by domestic and foreign writers discuss team spirit mainly with simple case analysis from perspective of business management and administration, showing less theoretical and systematical concern for the essence of team spirit. This thesis explicit the essence and function of team spirit from the perspective of moral education, and probes into the realistic significance and countermeasure in implementation of this education. Furthermore, it discusses moral educational efficiency through reinforcement of team spirit education in secondary vocational school.The context of the thesis is formed with four parts. The first part gives analysis of people's present choice of team spirit in respect to its content and components in constitution, the analysis goes deeper into the essence of "team spirit"--- the value of this decisive choice for the surmounting of time, its adaptation to the society and its developing process; The second part aims to reveal the realistic significance for secondary vocational school to implement team education in respond to social political and economical requirements as well as to the need of individual development. The third part mainly introduces the initial experiment of team spirit education in Hubei Mechanical Industrial School. And the fourth part demonstrates the feasibility of this experiment and the practical method, and discusses the system construction in view of the approaches for team spirit. A conclusion is drawn from the study that team spirit education is a necessity for the new era and should be reinforced in vocational secondary education to foster qualified and competent workforce.
