Discussion as a teaching method is supposed to cultivate the learners' overall quality for its modern educational concepts, thus representing the connotation of the Quality Education. To carry out the strategy of the Quality Education and to ensure the reform of the classroom teaching, the traditional teaching method of infusion- type should be changed as well. Discussion as a teaching method is more valued than ever for its aim at training the learners' creative spirit by construct an open and democratic circumstance on the learners' side. So it arise the learners' initiative and helps realize the cooperation between the teacher and learners, and vitalizes the history class.Based on the reality of the essential need for the reform for class teaching of history, this research is, on the analysis of the senior high school history of teaching, intended to probe into a teaching pattern for history teaching with the insight of the modern pedagogy and psychology. So it will involve the strategy and effect of the classroom teaching. Through the demonstration and the illustration, discussion as a teaching method can be adopted as a way out for the current situation. Therefore the research would help extend the classroom teaching and accumulate the data and provide any reference for deepening the reform in history teaching in senior high school.
