Based on article reviews of related researches, using the method of questionnaire survey and interviews, this paper is trying to describe the attitude of female graduates toward role positioning and role transform. The research object is focused on four key universities in Chengdu. This paper presents the characteristics of the female graduates' attitudes toward role positioning as following: inclining to take graduate education as a method of job seeking; inclining to hold a high degree identity toward graduate education; inclining to take the graduate role as a transitional role rather than a developmental role; inclining to get support from the family when career frustration occurs. Meanwhile, the characteristics of the female graduates' attitudes of toward role transform are categorized as following: inclining to positioning themselves as "Family-Career Oriented" while having a relatively low expectation toward career development; inclining to have certain degree of self-confidence on maintaining a balance among self, career and family during the role transform; lacking of career development awareness during the study/work—graduate role transform and the education—career role transform; lacking of career development spurt awareness during the education—career role transform period.This paper propose a concept of "education-career transform adverse balance" to explain the gap between a high expectation of graduate education and a low expectation of career development of female graduates.
