A Research About Youth Marginal Personality In The Social Reforming Time

Youth's marginal personality is one kind of special personality phenomenon which produces during social reforming of youth. This kind of personality has the characteristic of transitional, marginal and the variability. In the social reforming time, Youth's marginal personality performances for following characteristic: Behavior pattern marginal, the role cognition confusion, and individuality form bipolarity, value idea unreasonable and so on. The cause of marginal personality have the influence of external factors, also has the influence of internal factors. It is the product of co-effective of the individual and the society factors. The influence of marginal personality to the current Chinese youth is obvious. Their personality condition is frequently in the condition of contradictory and unbalanced. In the fast development period, the Chinese society urgent needs the youth to become the modernized new persons. Therefore, youth's marginal personality should be transformed to modern personality. With the aid of the view in sociological angle, based upon the investigation result of personality condition of college students in Fuzhou area, and using the theological knowledge of youth psychology, pedagogy, and psychology and so on, this thesis gives analysis and explanation of this topic. Based on that, some proposals were given to solve the youth marginal personality problem. Those proposals were subsequently to be use to practically help the Chinese youth to move towards the modernization.
